first content i’ve watched for this cb’s promo?? (actually scratch that i watched clips of the yeonbin divorce nvm) and omgggg i loved this. moons ago daesung was actually my bias… my first bias, in fact. before i got into exo and bts i was a bigbang and bap girlie… it feels weird seeing something 14-year-old riyah loved line up with 24-year-old riyah’s interests… she’s changed so much, yet apparently not that much, since she still fcking love this community.

also i’m trying to post more fandom-centric content since that was the original purpose of this journal, and ik i need to stop being negative and just have some fun.

so, thoughts:

• v interesting to see how a weverse live is set up and done in real time? maybe they’ve shown that before in prev content but idk, this was my first time really seeing it and i loved it. and it’s nice that it was just 7 (txt + daesung + cameraman) in the room instead of the 5+ staff like rookie era of when txt used to go live. i get it for pr reasons, but i’ve always hated it bc it felt suffocating
• love that they talk so much shit abt hybe! like pls let out your grievances more. it’s why i esp love when the trusteez (taebin) go live cb...they always end up spilling company frustrations and trainee stories (though it also makes me v sad)
• also ik they’re joking so idk how true it is, but i do think it’s creepy that they’re supposed to only go to the hybe clinic… going on a tangent but it kinda reminds me of a plotline in dance academy (my childhood show) where they’re ballet students and can’t go to outside clinics or get second opinions, and the mc does that for her back and gets kicked out for it… it’s so controlling? idk (but maybe it was a complete joke?? hard to read into it as non native speaker...)
• also speaking abt trainees… we finally heard the full story of kai purposely messing up and then confessing days later. they briefly mentioned it in a to do ep back in like 2021?? but way more fondly . and i can really get baby kai’s mindset… like “fine, if you want to correct my every move, i’ll really make you do that”… but doing it for hours is kinda insane?? i was expecting like half an hour or something…but it’s like his only way of pushing back as the maknae and letting out frustration, so idk i get it, kai. even if it’s not a good mindset
• which… baby pre-debut kai :( my baby. i’ve always wondered how he went from a boy who cried every single day to an idol who’s only cried so seldomly on camera, and is the one who holds it down when the others can’t… and i know moas see that as a good thing… but is it? (sorry my need to overanalyze and project is coming thru)
• i feel like we just keep learning more and more abt kai, and even though he’s been in the public eye for 7 yrs, we’re still just scratching the surface. he’s so interesting to me! 
•  yeonjun being a master at avoidance wow... he's just like me fr. i've left gcs outta anger and tbh if i could, i probably would've left the house as well. though it seems like he just holds everything in and then finally blows up at a relatively minor incident/inconvenience, which is Not Healthy but it's human, so i relate. though i'm so nosy and kinda wanna know when it went down since they mentioned it happened right before an m/v filming shoot and that he was an mc at the time. gbgb era?? i would've never thought... and the hint of shade that soobin and beomgyu must've not listened to what he said bc they thought it was taken out on them unfairly?? i must know what happened and what was said... /jk.
• it's nice to see that now that they're seniors in this industry and in their career, they can now talk about this stuff. like even in the trainee kai example... back early on, like i said, they talked about it through a more sugary-codeded.. softened  lense??but now they can let all the good and bad (human) emotions out. it's healthy!!
• also taehyun grabbing kai's hand so cutely and pulling him to his side to show they were not involved in the fight whatsoever... my tyunning. taehyun really loves him so much bc wdym he helped kai clean and go through his thousands of delivery boxes pilled up, and even helped discard rotten, months-old chicken breast......
• also did see kmoa kinda talk abt their reading-into-things-thoughts abt kai hoarding, and ik i'm already doing that so much in this post... but this is more speculative/armchair psychology so i won't divulge, but hmm i agree
• i’ve talked so much about txt, but it was a delight to watch daesung!! he’s so much more smiley/ijbol than i remember? and now i wanna watch all of his previous episodes bc he is a wonderful host and i feel like he could even make me less anxious and more comfortable speaking with him!
• oh! and the talk abt hypothetical leader!taehyun....why do i wanna see an au where that exact scenario plays out.. should i? *devilish grin*
